Eligibility:I. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree OR equivalent examination from University/Institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science and Application, Earth Science, Population Studies, Education etc. are eligible for this Test. The Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Physically Handicapped (PH)/Visually Handicapped (VH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master's degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test. II. Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master's degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for Lectureship eligibility only after they have passed their Master's degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH/VH category candidates). Such candidates must complete their P.G. degree examination within two years from the date of SET result with required percentage of marks failing which they shall be treated as
disqualified. III. The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master's level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET. IV. Candidates are required to appear in subject of their post-graduation only. In case the subject of a candidate is not included in the list of SET subjects, the candidate may appear in UGC NET/UGC-CSIR NET which is held twice a year. 03- VALIDITY:- For lectureship eligibility, the SET certificate is valid for that particular state only and forever. Medical Standards :(a) Height (in Centimeters)

(i) Asst Commandant (GD) and Technical: 157 cms minimum may be reduced by 5 cms in the case of Assamese (including those from Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Tripura) Garhwal, Sikkim, Local tribes of A & N Islands and 2 cms in case of candidates from Lakshadweep, mainland settlers in Andaman and Nicobar.

(ii) Asst Commandant GD(Women) : 152 cms. (iii) Asst Commandant (Pilot) (Men/Women): Minimum 162.5 cms and maximum 197 cms, leg length minimum 99 cms and maximum 120.0 cms.

Applications will be accepted online,After submitting the form an acknowledgement with a Registration number will be provided to the candidate along with date, time and venue of the examination. The filled Application Form, with the number generated will be available to the candidate to save and take a print. For candidates NOT meeting the eligibility criteria, a ‘Rejection Slip, giving the cause of rejection with the Application Number’ will be displayed. Air India Air Transport Services Limited (AIATSL), conducts Walk-In-Interview for the post of Customer Agents for Amritsar on a fixed term contract basis

Qualification : Graduate in any discipline (minimum three years duration) from a recognised university with ability to speak English and conversant with local language and basic computer operation. Physical Standards : Height -Male not below 158 cms. Female not below 152.5 cms. Weight- As per the chart approved by Medical Services of the Company. Candidates are required to produce a certificate from Registered Medical Practitioner i.e.M.B.B.S. Doctor with regard to Height and weight. Relaxation of height requirement upto 2.5 cms will be considered for SC/ST candidates and for Gorkhas, Garhwalis and those hailing from North East States & Hilly areas on production of a certificate of Domicile of these areas (as applicable). Height and weight proportion will be as the chart approved by Medical services of the Company.

Selection Procedure : Applicants will have to undergo Group Discussion followed by interview on the same day / following day(s). Period of Contract : Fixed Term Contract for a period of three years. This Contract can also be terminated earlier at the discretion of the Management during the tenure of contract, and/or in the event of unsatisfactory performance. The job is transferable to any station in India.
