CRPF Requirement 2012, for the posts of Head Constable/ Constable

Applications are invited from the Male/Female citizens of India to fill up 866 vacancies (Head Constable/ GD-191 & Constable/ GD – 675) in Central Reserve Police Force against Sports Quota.

Head Constable (GD)	10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/University.	Individual event Sports person of merit who have won medal in individual event in National Games/Championships or Junior National Games/ Championships or any recognized sports meet of National repute as mentioned in the list at Para-01 above, conducted by respective Federation/ Association Team eventThe team of sportsperson must have won at least Bronze medal in National Games/Championships or any recognized sports meet of National repute as mentioned in the list at Para-01 above, conducted by respective Federation/ Association.
Constable(GD	Matriculation or 10 th Class pass from a recognized Board/University.	Sportsperson who have represented a State or the Country in the National or International competition in any of the games/sports mentioned in the list at Para-01 orSportsperson who have represented their University in the InterUniversity Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the sports/games shown in the list at Para-01 orSportspersons of merit who have represented State Schools Team in National Sports/Games for Schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in any of the games/sports shown in the list at Para-01

Physical and Medical Standards :

Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonies, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.	Male - 165 Cms Female- 155 Cms	Unexpended 78 Cms Expended: Minimum expansion should be 5 Cms.
All candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes	Male- 162.5 Cms Female- 150 Cms	Unexpended 76 cms Expended: Minimum expansion should be 5 CMs

Medical Standards :i) Eye-Sight.Distant Vision:-a) The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 both eyes without correction i.e.without wearing of glasses.b) Should be free from colour blindness.ii) The candidate must not have any defects like knock knee, stammering, flat foot, varicose veins or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

The eligible and desirous candidates should send their application in the prescribed proforma duly typed
or neatly hand written, duly filled in on foolscap paper with two attested passport size photographs, one duly affixed on application form and one on the admit card at the space prescribed for the purpose and duly completed in all respect addressed to “The DIG (Sports),Directorate General (Training Branch), CRPF, East Block-10, Level-7, R.K. Puram, New Delhi- 110066” on or before 15/07/2012 repeat 15/07/2012 super scribing on the envelope “Application for the recruitment of SportsPerson in CRPF against Sports Quota” along with the required documents.
